Magazine motor & Gripper motor

Magazine motor before cleaning and checking

This motor have been refurbished, the grease was soft and the cable is in good shape also. Just added new grease and brushed the outside.

Gripper motor was compleatly stuck and my heat gun was needed once again to thaw the grease in the gearbox.

I had to open the motor and cut away the hard grease with a knife.
Inside near the brushes the cables insulation was falling apart so a new cable is a must here!
Except for the dirt and bad leaders the gripper motor looked ok inside.

New fresh grease was also added

  3. The trick is to loosen the screws holding the motor cover and then turn the motor shaft backwards with the shaft sticking out of the back of the motor cover. At the same time pull gently the commutator/cover out from the gearbox.
